Description
Founded in 2008, Camba originally served as showroom for brewery plant manufacturer BrauKon. Markus Lohner, founder of BrauKon and Camba, used the small brewery located in Truchtlaching to demonstrate clients from all over the world what BrauKon brewing equipment could do. With success: Camba soon became one of the first breweries in Germany to brew international beer styles and a pioneer of the German craft beer scene. In 2016, Camba Bavaria and BrauKon had to find a bigger location and moved to the village of Seeon,

Bottle 75cl. Tasted double blind. Courtesy of yespr. Pours an almost clear amber with a beige head. Some oak in the nose, somewhat unclean. Medium body, a little caramel and nuts again with an oaky edge. Ends dryish but with hardly any hops. 190211

Bottle 75 cl. Tasted double blind. Courtesy of yespr. Pours a clear amber with a creamy and lacing beige head. Sweet oaky aroma, lots of licorice allsorts and coconut. A little light in body, sweet caramellish malts and again lots of oak and vanilla. Very subdued bitterness. 190211

14 gul at yespr blind tasting clear yellow, no head aroma is wood, whiskey, faint roasted stuff, sweet caramel, aroma is a lot "darker" than the appearance. flavor is slightly fruity, booze, sweet malts, caramel.

75 cL bottle. Pours dark brown with a huge off-white head. Aroma is roasted malty, light breadish. Mild fruity, roasted malty and slight wooden. Lingering caramelish and subdued bitter into a roasted and mellow caramelish finish.

Bügelverschlußflasche: Golden, hazy, visible carbonation, stable creamy off-white head; distnctive flavours of unmalted barley in the nose, supported by a light hoppy base; soft, almost medium bodied, moderate sweet-bitter flavour; slightly increasing hoppiness in the drier - soft - bitter-sweet finish. Good, well crafted Export.....
