Description
Founded in 2008, Camba originally served as showroom for brewery plant manufacturer BrauKon. Markus Lohner, founder of BrauKon and Camba, used the small brewery located in Truchtlaching to demonstrate clients from all over the world what BrauKon brewing equipment could do. With success: Camba soon became one of the first breweries in Germany to brew international beer styles and a pioneer of the German craft beer scene. In 2016, Camba Bavaria and BrauKon had to find a bigger location and moved to the village of Seeon,

From one beer shop at Munich, best before 10/25, opening this can two days ago at home, at the balcony. It was for me an interesting smoked lager, light and tasty, malty, smocked, not too strong, a bit watery, classical bitterness.

Süßlicher, etwas karamellig-herber Beginn, erkennbar alkohlisch. Zunehmende Herbe, getreidig, moderat würzig. Mittelmäßig. 9/7/7/7/11/7

Cremiger, leicht herber Beginn, deutlich rauchig, trocken. Angenehme, genau passende Süße um die Rauchigkeit zu pushen, moderat herb, dabei permanent leicht hopfig. Wunderbar ausbalanciert, mittellanger Abgang, der sich zugunsten der Hopfigkeit verschoben hat. 8/11/12/11/9/11

From one beer store Munich, best before 11/25, opening this can yesterday with my wife, at night after to be with my mother. Interesting and tasty ipa, smooth, cereal, oat, light and fruity with a touch of mango, orange, discreet kiwi, citrus and bitter, good and refreshing.

Best before 11/25, opening this can yesterday with my wife after to be with my mother. A cool Belgian ale, on the way of the houleuse, malty, wheat, freshness, yeasty, a bit sweet, fruity and regular bitterness with a light body, correct from Munich.

Copper colored with a foamy head of modest duration. Apples and bananas on the nose. Taste is mildly bitter with a nice interplay of caramel and apples, finishing oddly empty though, and a touch watery, without the needed crispness. Medium bodied, mildish carbonation. Needs a stronger hops profile. Drinkable.

Süßer, etwas zuckriger Beginn, Toffee, moderat röstig. Die Süße nimmt glücklicherweise etwas ab und ist nun angenehm, ziemlich trocken, etwas Bitterschokolade. Weich, herb-malzig, würzig, langer cremig malziger Nachhall. 9/11/11/11/11/11

Draught Fast dwindling cream head over jet-black beer. Black chocolate, rum, some coffee and just a tad of roast. Watered-down cold coffee, chocolate, dry wood; finish has chocolate coating on plywood. Feels lighter than 8.8% would warrant. Soft carbonation, bit chewy and sticky. There's better around in this particular segment.
