A deep cognac amber mead with aroma of sweet apple jam, light maple, alcohol warmth, light honey, very nice. In mouth, a nice sweet apple jam with honey, light maple, alcohol warmth, oily mouth feel, nice and complex. Bottle at meadery, Ottawa meets Sweden tasting, Feb 2017.

Yellow but it has a slight green tint to it in the glass. poured still obviously. Smells is very unique. Pungent like bleach and forest. Flavor is almost antiseptic like it should be dentist recommended. Honey is insanely pronounced and the lingering sweet honey like finish along with mint and grass. Very intense and a single ounce is all you need. Actually though it’s so unique I could see myself enjoying this by a warm fire . It’s very comforting.
