(473ml can from L'Axe du Malt, Quebec City) Pours rather hazy pale orange with a decent white head and lace. Notes of typical Citra mango, tangerine, some ripe pit fruit, nice estery fruitiness too, mixed with more leaf and conifer notes, a little citrus peel, some biscuity pale malt, medium-sweet finishing dry and moderately bitter, resinous and a bit astringent. Medium-bodied, fairly smooth with soft filling carb. Pretty well balanced, another nice kveik IPA from this brewer.

(473ml can from L'Axe du Malt, Quebec City) Pours nearly opauqe yellow-orange with an average white head. Aroma of green mango, melon, papaya, unripe guava, some sweet canned peach and orange undertones, a little leafy. Flavour is off-dry with melon, papaya and green mango most prevalent, some estery kveik fruitiness, light biscuit to the malt, finishing rather dry with quite low bitterness, a little chalky, with lingering melon and fruit peels. Medium bodied, average carbonation. Solid effort, I'd like more expression of the citra here which teases juicy but ends up a bit more on the greener side.

Pours oily black with a moderate tan head. Notes of rather sweet caramel and toffee malt coupled with a bold roast quality and heavy earthy coffee, overall balance of a heavily sweetened espresso with chocolate and ash undertones, vanilla quite sublte, leathery hits in the nose. Sweetness is counteracted by heavy roasty coffee bitterness in the finish and a hint of alcohol. Medium full oily body with soft carbonation. Note a typical pastry stout, more like a heavily coffee-infused roast forward stout. Solid if you love bold coffees.
