Clean, light amber colour with golden highlights, a big frothy off-white head, good stay and some foamy lacing. Citrus aromas mild wax with some cereal, rye notes in the base. Orange flavours like a witbier with a touch of spiciness, but feels more like the rye, and not the pepper. A touch of perfume comes out in the mouth. Gets a tad hazy as it pours near the end. Not a bad beer, but was hoping for pepper to show up, like way more. I much prefer Dieu du Ciel Route des Épices for the style.

Olfactif relevant des notes de pamplemousse, de terre et de verdure herbacée. Couleur dorée, partiellement voilée. Mousse effervescente et moyennement persistante. La sensation de verdure persiste en bouche et ressemble à des notes de légumes bouillis. Nouvellement arrivé chez Broue Ha Ha de Gatineau avec une date d’encannage du 17 septembre 2022 sur la cannette. Donc, vieille de 6 mois. Inacceptable pour une Pale Ale Américaine. Un cas d’évier. Illegible can date drunk 10/8/22 from Johnnnnie, via Tfontana, drunk 10/8/22. Chill haze lemon. Small, white head. Nose is lemon and black pepper. Pretty low acidity, some light clove. Clean, cracker and wheat from the malt. Lots of orange peel and white pepper lingering. Soft and wheaty with black and white pepper and light honey. Chewy, soft, mild, well-aged. Clean and fruity with light lemon and low acidity but good balance.

Can pour from trade with Johnnniee--thanks, John! It's a cloudy pale yellow with thin cap of white head with good retention and light lacing. Aroma is moderately strong tart lemon, lemongrass. Taste is strong lemon and fruity, floral esters. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with frothy texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, probably the first time I've ever rated a beer as too floral but perhaps too strong. Still, enjoyable.

16 oz. can shared by tfontana, thanks big pimp! Aroma is light lemon and lemon grass. The flavor is herbal but I kinda like the lemongrass hints. Real nice palate cleaner. Easy drinker.
