Pours pale yellow with decent white head. High carbonation. Aromas of classic lager, something vegetal, light malt, some honey. Light body, short finish. No discernable bitterness. Nice gimmicky bottle, containing OK lager.

Przerost formy nad trescia. Smak typowo lagerowy. Zwykly. Piana nietrwala. Buteleczke mozna zachowac sobie do kolekcji.

Bouteille verte 330ml.

Bottle @ The Coulard Bar, Lossiemouth [060413]
Golden, clear, thin white head
Aroma - soft skunk, slight earthy aroma, light corn malt, hint of cereal
Taste - light sweet pale cereal malts, cereal, little going on but it isn’t too bad tbh
Palate - Medium to high carb, sweet pale malt palate. Finish is clean, soft sweet linger
Overall - Slightly better than the usual rubbishy macro lager - slightly sweeter

I put this beer on my dresser and meditated to it for four days. I found a great inner emptiness in the tradition of the greater vehicle, the Mahayana. I saw all my present and past lives spin out around me and my life began and ended under the Bodhi Tree. Nirvana, with all its Teen Spirit, appeared before my wondrous eyes but I resisted my grasp and drank the fucking beer. It’s not easy being a Bodhisattva.

This lager poured a crystal clear, light yellow colour with almost no head. Scents include eggs, light vinegar, womens hair salon...etc. First sip was almost water with flavours of corn, eggs and bread. Finish is almost non-existant with a very thin, corn flavour. The bottle is the best thing about this beer.

Bottle: Poured super light bright yellow lager with a small pure white foamy head with light retention. Aroma of adjunct and fusel alcohol is not very enticing. Taste is also dominated by adjunct with light fusel alcohol notes. Body is light with medium carbonation. Not just bland but actually quite bad.

I must say, the little green Buddha bottle caught my eye at the LCBO. Came in a 6-pack and reminded me of Heineken when drank from the bottle. Poured, it is golden, clean, has a big frothy white head that stays quite long (one of the longest lager head retention I have seen) and lacing is pretty dirty. Grainy malt nose at first, and then, some hints of pears. Mild malt taste, but still grainy, that reminds me of some local micros. A better than average pale lager (if you forget the nice bottle).
