Bottle: Poured a amber color with a soft pillowy white head. Sweet hoppy grain and malt aroma. Bitter hoppy corn taste that finished with a metallic alcoholy aftertaste.

Getreidiger, etwas metallerner Geruch. Schon beim ersten Schluck merkt man, dass dies ein Massenbier ist, von denen man schon viele getrunken hat. Charackterloser Körper mit minimal getreidiger Note. Etwas süßliches Finish. Danke, nächstes Bier. Test vom 10.1.2007, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 7,5,6,4,9,4 - 5,00

Frankly I think that this beer is severely underrated on this site. It looks like a pretty good white beer with a very cloudy orange colour. It tastes like a pretty good white beer with its nice spicy palate. I don’t really see what is so horribly wrong with this beer. Hell, I would drink it again and maybe again after that.

Immediately gets a large, foamy head that quickly dissapates. Pretty dark beer over all, but has a weird little soapy smell. NIce and woody sort of taste, but really there is not much to the palate of this beer. Certainly drinkable. Caramel flavour that people talk of is certainly subdued if at all present. Pretty drinkable. I would dig it again.

Nice golden color with a big head in the very beginning that almost disappears completely by the end. Not particularly complex, but the high alcohol content is properly covered by the flavor, so it gets a plus for that. This is not a fantastic beer, but it is nice and drinkable... would have it again if it were around.

Got this beer in the brown bottle with a similar label, so it might just be the normal Taller rather than the Pils version. Either way, pale beer with a pretty big head actually. Has no a crisp almost bitter taste and then finishes off with a rather metallic aftertaste. An ok standard beer at a nice cold level.

Very pale gold; medium, very fine just off-white head. Cat’s pee (skunked), some duff pale malts, adjuncts betraying themselves in the nose. Very light taste with some (but not more) hints at honey, lemon, malts and, again, skunked. "Watery" is nearly beefing it up linguistically. MF: light as the textiles of a wh... sorry, JoeT. It even makes no attempt at being fizzy. Cat’s pee, indeed. Might be an export (WHAT FOR??) tweaking of the "Svitle".

(Can 50 cl) Pours a hazy pilsener golden with a white head. Lots of yeast impurities. Vague aroma of yeast and citrus. Rather light body with a vague, wheaty tartness. Light and quenching but not with a terrible lot of character. 020706

Plastic bottle. Weak hazy yellow colour, ok mediumsized head. Fruity aroma with hints of wheat. Quite typical witbier nose actually. Flavour is the same, though quite weak flavoured. Flavour is cut quite abruptly. Once it gets warmer it starts reminding of dishwater.

Plastic bottle. Dark golden colour, mediumsized bubblyish foamy head. Aroma is like stomach acids (the stuff you start puking after having puked everything else out). A bit mash and malts in aroma too. Flavour is extremely strong for a beer with 4,4% alcohol. At first very metallic, then into harsh grassy malts. A bit hoppiness in finish, strong grassy malts in aftertaste. Extremely full, too bad the aroma and flavour are not that good...
