Sample (batch 5, thanks fonefan). Very deep coppery colour, small off-white head. Aroma is fruity, alcohol, some plum and mild dried fruits. Flavour is plum, some alcohol, mild fruity and some dates, dried fruits and a slight spiciness too. Alcohol burns like fuck.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours an inky black with a small, brown head. Thick roast nose with overripe fruit. Medium body only, some initial sweet roast and rum, but unclean glue notes quickly take over paired with a distinct tartness. Sadly but obviously this is contaminated and not overly pleasant. 310123

14/1/2023. Bottle at the Haderslebener tasting. Pours clear dark amber bronze with a small frothy off-white head. Aroma of toffee, orange, dried fruits, malt, cinnamon, spruce and winter berries. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness and body. Oily, average carbonation. Quite enjoyed this.

Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet with a average duration, sweet malt, dark malt, spicy, yeast. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20230114]
