Enda en ølstil jeg sliter med, men som er meget elegant utført av monkey brew. Men så er det mest kaffe i den, og det gjør den litt mindre overdådig en enkelte lignende øl.

HVerken corona eller Corona her i huset, men gjerne en Monkey Brew! 0,44 boks stødig levert av han du vet i Straensenteret: uklar oransjerød med kort skum. Bringebær, mango og pasjonsfrukt, med bringebær i førersetet. Litt laktose og hint av salt? Frukt- og bærsyre dominerer i avslutningen. Hadde smakt enda bedre hvis det hadde vært sol&varme nå.

Appelsinfarget. Uklar. Filmskum. Litt lacing. Plommearoma. Smaken overmoden klementin. Tørr, lett bitter avslutning.

On tap at Habitat, Trondheim. Has a hazy orange colour with an off-white head. Fruity aroma of pineapple, grapefruit, hay, grass, mango and lactose. The flavour is similar with more grass and hay. Has a soft mouth feel, light to medium body and a light bitterness. Fruity and easy-drinking.

On tap at Habitat, Trondheim. Pours a hazy orange colour with a light beige head. Aroma of apricots, glue, vinegar, cardamom and saffron. Fruity flavour of apricots, pineapple, tropical juice and lactose. Soft mouth feel, light to medium body and a light bitterness. Very fruity and fresh.

Can. This one was 6,5% ABV and doesn’t look like the beer at the picture at all, suspect there is two versions under the same listing here. Anyway, hazy pale golden yellow body with a big, lacing white head. Fresh and fruity aroma dominated by grapefruit and some passion fruit, no malt in the nose. Taste is light and fruity as well, with light malt and lots of fresh grapefruit, passion fruit and fruity bitterness. Medium body and the same refreshing fruity aftertaste. A nice thirst quencher in the crossing between a NEIPA and a regular IPA with decent 60 IBU.

Fiskåbanen 180120. Ruby red color with a pinkish head. Aroma is sourness, cherries. Flavor is sourness, cherries, citrus, malt.
