Can from Oliver's Beverage Center, Albany. Opaque, cola brown, light sparkle, thin head with good retention and light lacing. Aroma is strong bittersweet coffee, vanilla, chocolate. Taste follows aroma. Smooth, thick texture, full bodied, soft carbonation, roasted bitter finish. Nice.

Keg at the brewery taproom. Pours brown-black with a small, creamy beige head. Moderately sweet with sturdy ashy roast, bitter dark chocolate, baking cocoa, earth. Medium to full bodied with fine carbonation and velvety texture. Bittersweet finish, more hearty dark chocolate, some rich coffee, more ashy roast. Solid.
