Bottle @ benzai. Hazy orange with a small white head. Smells church/incense, herbs, malts, sweet, fruity. Tastes sweet, candy, roze biggetjes van katja, slightly yeasty. Medium body, soft carbo.

Bottle @ weekly tasting shared with Dutchdrebus. Hazy yellow to orange color, small white to off-white head. Smell and taste malts, wheat, sweetness, a hint of banana flavoured candy, slightly herbs or spices. Average body, a bit fizzy carbonation. Meh.

Bottle from Burg Bieren, BB March 2016, large sample. Clear light golden color, short frothy white head. Aroma has lots of ginger, bit citrus, slight grainy malt, bit earthy and grassy hop, slight spicy yeast. Bit bitter in taste, ginger, bit citrussy. Dry in the finish, some ginger, some bitterness lingers. But all in all ginger dominates. Probably pairs good with sushi, but as a standalone beer its not more than ok.

Draft @ de Haas. Golden color. Aroma of wheat and soap. Taste is a bit weird, with ginger, mild pepper and a soapy herbal note. Bit strange.

33 cl bottle @ Bierlokaal Koffen
Aroma is musty with apricot, some ginger and hayish tones. Also hints of toffee. Flavour has cardboard, ginger, some ashy tones and mild minerals. Feels like a cheap & old bulk lager with some ginger added.

Bottle @ home. Clear orange golden color, medium sized soapy white head. Aroma is decently hoppy still, mostly cascade hops come through. Taste malts, again decently hoppy, a hint of caramel, a hint of iron, moderately bitter. Decent body, a bit fizzy carbonation. Ok beer. That said, it is holding up well considering it’s a hoppy beer past its best before date.

Bottle @ De Baron, Eindhoven. Clear golden color, small white to off-white head. Aroma is puke, vomit and throw up horridness. Dear Lord. Taste is strong ginger, herbal, spicy and bitter. Actually the taste is doable, although I would never ever order another one. Why would you brew this? I mean, the "interesting experiment thing" has been done before hasn’t it? So why??
