Red ale with spices. Comes on strong but grows on you. Excellent.

Hazy golden amber with a frothy / bubbly white head and a hoppy, fruity aroma. Orange caramel malt, a little kick, some estery fruitiness, hop bitterness and a dry finish.

Superficial tasting at company beer tasting. This was super interesting to taste, would love to repeat this rather unusually beer. Sweet caramel malt, candy, vinegar, fruity and bitterness. An exiting experiment indeed, not just made for the sake of making experiment but clearly with a plan. Some kind of sour, but still so different. The acidic vinegar seems to play in the background of a much sweeter beer and the result is totally different from all other sours I have tasted.

Superficial tasting at company beer tasting. 2018 edition. Dark brown without carbonation. Strong aroma and taste. Malt, dry fruit, cherry, Madeira, wood, mild oxidation, balanced alcohol, super smooth. Delicious sipper. Couldn’t identify the tobacco part.

2014 Bottle via Shiggy Shig in Chapel Hill at George's place. Awesome.

Opaque, dirt brown, expectedly flat pour.
Slightly spent, Cheerios, nutty & dark chocolate nose. Still opening up.
Serious m&m candy feels, sticky toffee, sweet tobacco, candy shell, heavy cream. Hits on flavor.
Zero carb, lux, not cloying, not much burn.
