Draft. Rich mahogany beer with a dark cream head. Bourbon aroma. Bourbon and caramel flavor with light toffee. Medium-plus bodied. Bourbon and caramel linger with light toffee. Well balanced.

Can from Monument in Concord, CA. Pours dark brown/black with a foamy tan head. Earthy chocolate aroma with a touch of floral. Med body at least. Flavor is earthy chocolate with a coffee aspect - in the end it turns dry, earthy chocolate. Smooth dark malt. Coffee makes a slight come back in the finish. This is dang tasty stout.

Bomber from Perry's Liquors in Livermore, CA. Pours clear dark brown with a beige head. Aroma of brown sugar and a hint of peat/smoke. And malt. Med plus body. Brown sugar, peat/smoke, wood/leather and maybe other things. Lots of flavors mixed in this. Not dry. Not bitter, but the peat related stuff helps cut the sugars. This is very nicely done. Great flavor; great ale.
