Foodfestival, 2014. Very dark brown with small beige head. Aroma is roasted malts, chocolate, caramel, hop with notes of butter. Flavour is roasted malts, chocolate, medium sweet, caramel, hop, grapfruit and medium bitter.

Bottle 750ml. corked @ home on the terrace. [ As Klosterbryggeriet Forår ].Unclear matt medium orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, bread, caramel, fruity, light wheat, light to moderate hoppy, flowers, light to moderate yeasty, fruity. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, sweet fruit, yeasty, caramel, flowers - fruit, medium dry. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. Bottle from my local florist. Hazy amber with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel and candy sugar. Flavor is quite sweet and light bitter. Sweet finish. 150814

Odense Late Summer Post-Munkekonge Whale Spotting Night. Near black with a lasting off-white head. Aroma of licorice, dark sugar and coffee, with a touch of boozy alcohol. Sweet, roasted flavour with lots of burnt notes and ash, caramel and licorice, and hot alcohol

Bottle. It’s a hazy dark golden orange beer with a finger thick off-white head. The aroma is weak, with some caramel malts and a little fruity touch. Cellar notes. It’s quite dry on the palate, with a nice carbonation level. Some alcohol notes in the flavor, it’s mostly on the malty side, with some fruityness. Lasting finish which feels a bit sweeter than the initial flavor. Needs some cheese to be interesting this one, but it never gets really interesting. 140801
