Bottle 500ml. @ home. [ As Klosterbryggeriet Sorte Alken ].Clear dark black - red brown color with a large to huge, frothy - creamy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, dark malt, moderate to light heavy hoppy, citrus, grapefruit, wood, moderate licorice. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, licorice - english licorice, licorice root - licorice wood, roasted, dry. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20150129]

Flaske (bb. 12.06.14) fra Superbrugsen i Nørrebrogade: rødlig ravfarge med fint filmskum. Aroma og smak av ristet brød, blomsterhonning og litt citrus. Floral bitterhet i avslutningen. Virker som den har tålt tidens tann, og jeg skulle gjerne smakt denne i en litt ferskere utgave.
