From a stall at La Boqueria Market. Pours murky brown, topped with minimal tan head. Mild caramel with biscuits and rum on the nose. Quite sweet start, malty biscuity. Finishes slightly peppery, mild bitterness. Aftertaste more cookie-like. Light bodied. Drinkable, but that’s it.

RBESG 2016 in Barcelona. On tap at the Red Ant, ABV 5.8%. Dark brown colour. Aroma and flavour of smoked sausage. Not my cup of tea.

RBESG 2016 in Barcelona, on tap at the Red Ant. Cloudy brownish golden colour. Yeasty and hoppy aroma and flavour, too sweet for me.

On-tap at Red Ant, Barcelona on 8th July 2016 with the RBESG guys. Mini haze to the dark brown bodied brew, on top a thin beige head. Lightly smoked, peat bog smouldering style in both the nose and taste, some other flavours may have been around, but I just got the Peat Bog thought in my head and that was it for me (not a smoked beer bloke).

8th July 2016: on-tap at Red Ant, Barcelona with the RBESG guys. Poured a hazy, mucky golden colour with an off-white head. Aroma and taste were like a mixed bowl of citrus fruits dusted over with caster sugar having been stirred with a ladle full of caramel and a daisy placed on top.
