Draught at European Beer Festival, Copenhagen. Clear bronze colour, minimal head. Soapy floral nose. Fairly sweet with light-medium body and clean rounded mouthfeel . Some spicy hops, but also butter and boiled vegetables. Medium bitterness. Unimpressive for being from Oceanbryggeriet.

Draught at European Beer Festival, Copenhagen. Very black. no head. Aroma of milk chocolate and tar. Sweet and dense with clean rounded mouthfeel. Medium-full bodied with notes of perfume, sugar and alcohol to go with the licorice and chocolate. Tarry salty finish with a bit of burning sweetness.

EBF2008. From tap. Pours clear and golden orange with a fully gone head , briefly was off-white head. Aroma mild hoppy and vague smoked. Light smoked and smooth hoppy base flavour. Light bitterness into the finish with a mild fruity note from the hops.

Handpumped, 5.3% at EBF08. Clear shiny red copper colour. Nice big stable creamy tan head. Subtle smoke flavour, a little horse and stable. 636317

Cloudy deep amber with large beige head. Sweet aroma with toasted malt, caramel and floral hops. Sweet flavour with toasted malt, caramel, fruits and floral hops.

Medium offwhite lasting head. Amber body. Wooden smoky charcoal aroma with tar notes. Dryish smoky charcoal taste with citric notes. Very harmonic. Some sweetness. Dry smoky aftertaste. Very nice! (0.1l taster draft at EBF ’08.)

Big coarseish offwhite lasting head. Amber body. Light grainy aroma. Dry-sweetish grainy coarse hoppy taste. Light acidity. Watery roasty aftertaste. Can’t say this impressed me too much. (0.1l draft at EBF ’08.)
