Draught@EBF2008. Very deep ambery brown colour, small head. Aroma is roasted malts, some hops and dark malts. Flavour is very much the same along with big wooden notes and vanilla. Solid and fullbodied brew.

Cask@EBF2008 (As Ocean Eko Pale Ale). Golden colour, small head. Aroma is hops, earth rubber and sugar. Flavour is mostly harsh rubber, grass and diacetyl. 5 3 4 2 9
Cask@SBWF2008 (as Ocean Organic Pale Ale). Golden colour, small beigeish head. Aroma is hop, some mild honey and fruits. Flavour is hops, saltwater and some mild wooden hints. Apparently in better condition at SBWF 2008 than at EBF 2008. 6 3 6 3 12.

Clear golden with medium off white head. Sweet aroma with smoke and malty notes. Smokey flavour with toasted malt and a peat finish.

Clear deep golden with tiny off white head. Sweet fruity aroma with toasted malt, caramel and floral hops. Sweet fruity flavour with toasted malt, butter and floral hops giving it a bitter end.

(Draught at The Rover, Göteborg)On September 5, 2008Apparentley "Ocean Old Smokey" is the same as "Ocean IPA" but something went wrong, creating this one.Shady copper color, dense tan head. Smoke, acidic, roasted, caramelly, malty taste. Stable scent, subtle but distinct. Smooth mouthfeel, medium high bitterness.A very nice misstake.7/4/8/4/16=3.9

From cask. Pours clear and golden orange with a fluffy white head. Mild diacetyl malty aroma with a light hops accent coming through. Flavour is towards malty and slight spiced with a vague diacetyl note. Light fruity hops fnish with a light bitterness showing through.

From tap. Pours dark brown to black with a lacing tan head. Aroma is dense liqourice and roastedmalt aroma with a mild acidic touch. Sweet initial flavoured with distinct berry fruity base flavour slowly showing some acidity and annis seed. Lingering liqourice and mild herbal touch into the far finish. Nice one.
