Yes, I rated meguiar’s leftover beer, I admit I have a problem. I got the yeasty part, so my rating may be a bit different. The part I had though was awesome. It smelled like candied caramel, strong and sharp. The taste was more like watered down brown sugar. Kind of thick feel to it but a medium-light body.

Cask-conditioned at the Bag O’Nails, Bristol 17/1/08. Orange coloured with a decent, off-white head. Caramel and red fruit aroma with some earthy hops. Full mouth feel with more malt and a long bitter finish. Very enjoyable.

Copper body - tan head...on the sniff is malts and some grapefruit...more malts than citrus....mild grapefruit on the palate combined with sweet malts...light creamy body, easy to drink.....bitter finish with a piney quality, and a smidge of metallic aftertaste....that went away after it opened up though....decent lacing....just a nice malty IPA

(Cask at Market Porter, Southwark, London, 2 Dec 2007) Dark reddish brown colour with frothy, beige head. Malty nose with dried fruit, raisins and hints of freshly ground coffee. Malty taste with notes of dark fruit, raisins, prunes and fruit cake resting on a solid malt foundation. Slightly sweet with balanced bitterness. Nice winter ale.

Bottle. Light light unclear medium yellow color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, toasted, moderate yeasty. Initial flavor is light to moderate sweet and light bitter, finish flavor is light to moderate sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration. (Bitternes is citrus / sweet hops). Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. Refreshing (091107)

(Cask at Akkurat, Stockholm, 24 Nov 2007) Golden yellow colour with frothy, white head. Fruity nose with grass, hay, apricots and floral hops. Fruity taste with notes of lemon, apricots and grassy, floral hops in the finish. Good bitterness, balanced sweetness. Decent, summery golden ale.

Bottled. A dark amber beer with a thin tan head. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of over ripe fruits, more like a Barley Wine, than a Premium Bitter. The flavor is sweet with notes of over ripe fruit, malt, and prunes, leading to a slightly bitter finish. The body is thin.

Cask at Akkurat, Stockholm. Dark amber. Fruity nose with cherry and butter. Sweet with rounded mouthfeel and medium body. Well balanced with notes of dried fruit and ash. Good late bitterness. A good drinkable full sized bitter.
