I’m not always sold on the whole black saison idea and this one is no different. Some caramel and a little unfermentes sugar. Dark brown pour with good head and lacing. Lighr sweet finish.

Well put together and easy to drink. Light citrus with some grapefruit. Good hop presence. Golden pour with good head and lacing. Bitter finish with hint of peel astringency. Tap at brewpub.

Good for style. Had as Miztili Brown. Light roast and some raw barley. Brown pour with good head and lacing. Some caramel. Bittersweet finish. Easy drinking. Tap at brewpub.

Bottled at Fiebre de Malta, Mexico City. Clear pale golden,small head. Grassy fruity nose. Mid sweet with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Fruity and lighhtly grassy. Mid bitter finish. Clean and anonymous, but with some refreshing qualities.

Draught at Graciela, Mexico City. Near black, small beige head. Aroma of coffee and tobacco. Dry and firm withmedium body and well rounded mouthfeel. Some salty espresso. Long bitter finish with some tar and resin. Really well made porter. Love it!

A dark brown porter with a thin mocha head. In aroma, sweet butterscotch malt with light coffee notes. In mouth, a sweet roasted coffee butterscotch, grassy hops, so-so. On tap at Graciela, March 31 2013.
