Clean, golden colour with a bubbly white cap, average retention and some light lacing patches. Aromas of wheat-bananas, balanced with some grassy-herbal hops and hints of citrus. The taste has the same going on with some decent dry finish, and mild bitterness. Not too hoppy, but nicely blending with the soft wheat. A nice Saison that is not too sweet with the help of the hops, and a touch of warming.

A slight hazed golden colour with an off-white head, decent stay and a few lacing spots. Grassy aromas, but not overpowering, more like tarty greens with hints of peppers. This continues in the taste with the peppery feel a touch more and some hints of pears. The hoppiness lingers and some decent dryness comes out of it. Not a bad Pilsner with regular characteristics, but mildly changed - so interesting.

Can that pours a clean, golden colour with a frothy-bubbly white cap, decent stay and some light foamy lacing. The nose gives out a deep green grassiness with some herbal notes, hints of spiciness over the sweet grainy malts. The taste shows the same with a touch of fresh mint blending with the rest of the grassy hops. The spicy rye is nicely balanced with the hops, making this one a refreshing, fresh and grassy light Pale Ale.

Almost clean amber colour with golden highlights. The head is bubbly, smallish, average retention and some foamy ring on the brew. Some diacetyl comes into the nose at first. After breathing a bit, some of the hops come out, showing some grassiness. The hops do continue with the grassy notes into the taste, over the caramel malts. Not a hopbomb, but a decent, crisp, well-balanced dry West Coast IPA.

Dark brown colour with ruby highlights, a huge creamy-bubbly, light mocha-coloured head, great stay and some nice web-creamy lacing. Roasted malt base with some nice chocolate and coffee notes. The taste shows more the burnt barley blended with the grassy hops. The alcohol is well-hidden, with only a slight warming and some nice dryness in the finish, but still wet enough and refreshing. Quite nice and troublsome.

4.8/10 Appearance 6 Aroma 5 Flavor 4 Texture 4 Overall 5
On tap at Whiprsnapr, pours an opaque peachy orange with a small white head. Aroma has some subdued cocoa upfront, with pith, and washed out hops. Flavour is muffled, blending all sorts of elements that have no business being together — with dry cocoa, some fruit pith, and lupulin bitterness. This could theoretically be done well, but this is not an example of that. Bad.

On tap at Whiprsnapr, pours a deep dark red-tinged brown with a tiny beige head. Aroma brings out soft dry cocoa, a touch of coffee and light vanillins. Flavour is very thin, almost sour, with vanillins, subdued coffee and a touch of cocoa. That's the thinnest palate I've had in a stout in a long while. And that tartness can't be intentional. Very poor.

5.4/10 Appearance 6 Aroma 6 Flavor 5 Texture 4 Overall 5.5
On tap at Whiprsnapr, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma reveals gentle piney hops, some resins, and biscuity malt. Flavour is pretty laid back, with a muffled, earthy hop character and biscuity malt backbone. The hop expression isn't great — rather muffled and lacking vibrance. Not too impressive.

On tap at Whiprsnapr, pours a clear pale yellow with a small white head. Aroma is timid, with light grass and biscuity malt. Flavour is similarly timid, but at least it's balanced - with subdued grassy hops and sweet biscuity malt. Needs much more hoppy bite and crispness. Okay.

Thanks PaleAleRider for this can from the brewery. Golden colour with a little amber as well. Bubbly off-white cap, fizzing away slowly, helped by the vivid carbonation. Getting hazier with every pour. Yeasty nose at first, but the strawberries come through. I feel a little infection with a tad of sourness, but not the right one in the taste. Well, this is too bad, as killing the strawberry fun. Mild wheat on the tongue lingers. The idea was good, but gotta clean those pipes.
