Poured from 473mL can (pkg Aug 22, 2022). Clear pale blonde with minimal white head. Mild melon hops, feint hint of lime and floral finish, a bit thin bodied grain, inoffensive.

Tall can from brewery on hike near Calabogie Peaks. Very very nice. What you’d hope for with description - NZ hops bring green melon bitterness, crisp finish. Highly recommend.

Tall can from brewery in Calabogie at farm. Hazy opaque peach yellow pour with thin white head. Aroma is orange, guava, mango, citrus tingle. Taste is bitter and more dry, slightly empty. Mango, guava mainly. Palate is smooth with fine carbonation and a pithy tingle. Not bad but not great.

Sweet malt with resin hop, midground even bitterness, that heavily lingers. Not complicated, decent balance.

Clean enough (very mild haze at last pour), light yellow colour with a bubbly-frothy white cap, good stay and soapy lacing. Straw malt nose with some light hops. Crisp, refreshing mouthfeel with just enough mild dryness in the end. Good German cereal grains with some spicy Saaz hops. A well-brewed North-American Pilsner.

On tap at Calabogie - Kanata, pours a clear blonde with a slight gold tint and a small white head. Aroma is quite laid back for the style, with mostly mineraly notes upfront, along with subdued hops. Flavour is very muted, with some faint piney hops and crisp biscuity malt. Fairly underwhelming—needs more oomph. Okay.

On nitro tap at Calabogie - Kanata, pours black with a thick creamy tan head. Nose is full of lactose and cocoa, with a hint of roast. Flavour is much the same, with lots of lactose, dry cocoa powder, and just enough roast to provide a foundation. Chocolatey, gently sweet, roasty finish. Very good for the style.
