Description

Bottle from LDW, Eke. Hazy orange colour, white rocky foam. Nose is incredibly sweet (artificial peach aroma, candy). Taste is less sweet. Light sweet, rather bitter finish. Strange beer, not very good but not the worst fruit beer.

Bottle @ Beerbecue at joes, small sample. Slight hazy amber color, short frothy head. Aroma of caramel, cookie, slight spicy, bit bourbon. Nothing really reminds of a saisonesque brew, except perhaps the spicy yeast. More a belgian amber. Bit sweet in taste, slight cookie and bourbon. Bit weird.

Bottle shared @ Beerbecue with Joes, Caesar and Dutchdrebus. Hazy orange color, full sized off-white head. Smell and taste malts, not a lot of flavor initially, after a while some caramel and sweet fruits. Quite fizzy carbonation. Ok beer.

Bottle @ beerbecue. Amber colour with a large white head. Smells anice, herbs, spices, bourbon, wood. Tastes vanilla, malts, herbs, grains. Weird combination. Not for me. Medium body, medium to heavy carbo.

Bottle. Pours dark blonde/amber, and very fuzzy. OK white head. Smell is sweet, marcepin, spices, and even - for some reason ? - white chocolate. Taste is very spiced, very VERY sweet. Sugar, some maple syrup , spices, ... This one is damn sweet indeed, and millions of lightyears away from being balanced. The aftertaste is an explosion of stevia-like sweetness, with maple syrup. I loved that stuff in imperial stout, but not in real life, and - to my disocovery now - especially not in blonde beers. it’s interesting - at a certain level- and the taste itself is not repelling. Its just the CRAZY amount of stevia-like sweetness that really, really kills it for me. To a point this is a drainpour after 1-2 sips.

Bottle from LDW Drankcenter, Eke. Cloudy hazy amber, lots of white flakes floating in the beer, almost no foam. Incredible sweet nose of burnt caramel, plastic, liquid sweet pancakes. Undrinkable, drain pour. This is disgusting beer.
