12 oz bottle..2007....very malty aroma with sweet qualities...creamy body...almost reminds me of a hefty english ale. or amber ale esque?..the hops are well balanced with the malts...but the malt is a bit more present...dark amber color... good.2015 revisiting.....just as delicious!

(Bottle, Akkurat, Stockholm, 10 Mar 2007) Dark red/amber/brown colour, slightly hazy. Fruity nose with cherries, raspberries, wild berries, dark fruit, Seville orange, caramel, fudge and vanilla. Fruity taste with caramel, fudge, raspberries, cherries and vanilla. Very complex, but slightly unfocused and rather sweet. Hearty, tasty and warming, though.

Strong aroma of grapefruit / citrus / flowers. Nice amber color with a firm beige head. Starts with a mouthful of grapefruit. Firm mouthfeel. There’s probably some malt in the middle, but it’s quickly overcome by hops. Nice bitter finish.

Light hop aroma backed by very light malt. Amber gold color with a white head that isn’t tall, but laces where it is. Starts with a good mouthfeel, and some light hop and firm malt. It isn’t exactly dry, but it isn’t exactly sweet. This is well balanced and quite tasty.

Caramel malt aroma. Clear amber color with a very frothy beige head. A bit thin. Reasonably malty, maybe caramelly. I agree that smooth it is. I think there is some hop, but maybe I am imagining that. Creamy smooth finish.

Bottle. Slightly unclear, copper-colored amber with a beige head. Hops, stock, malt and caramel makes the slightly sweet aroma. The flavor is fruity and hoppy, with pine-cones and maltyness. The finish as well is hoppy, on a weaker malty background. The full-bodied beer falls into the category "I like it!". (070119)
