Sampled @ Ratebeer Summer Gathering 2016, Friday, Day 1 Pours hazy dark orange golden colour with a mid-sized off-white head. Aroma of dark malt, dark fruits, raspberries. Taste of strong sweet dark malt, a lot of raspberries, too sweet.

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Hazy brown with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel, raspberries, dried fruit and alcohol. Flavor is very sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and moderate bitter finish with lots of warming alcohol. A bit boozy. 190816

Bottle @ Danish Ratebeer Summer Gathering, fonefan. Nice creamy head with excellent duration. Color is dark brown. Aroma and taste are rich dark fruits, caramel, syrup, malt and berries. Sweet and strong finish.

Bouteille 33cl. Orange, col épais crémeux et tenace blanc-cassé. Arôme au nez de grains concassés, léger rétro houblonné, noble niveau houblonné vert et agrumes. Le bouquet levure semble manquer le coche. Palais est modéré avec une note levure belge? qui n’est pas spécialement bien adaptée au style et confère un profil léger suret presque chimique, levure Alvinne? Grains rappelle entre autre l’épeautre avec une touche verte houblonnée. Le tout est sec et terreux et persiste sur ce profil levure suret qui n’est pas à l’avantage du style recherché.

Bottled, from Systembolaget. Cloudy golden, rich firm head. The label is spot on when it comes to the aroma: fruity with coriander, honey and lime. Rather sweet with solid body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Slick honey and white bread covered in coriander and fresh lime. Slight dusty bitterness. Interesting, but all harmonious.

Tap at Pressklubben. Clearish, dark brown with small tan head. Aroma of dark forest fruits, syrup, caramel, malt, raisin. Similar taste with dried fruits, sweetish caramel and maybe a little bit of blackberries. Smooth and lightly boozy finish. Hides alcohol really well though.

05/06/2016 @home - 33cl botlle from Bierhalle Deconinck, Vichte. Clear golden colour with huge white head. Nose is a bit fruity, sweet, somewhat Tripel-like. Taste has some grain, some fruit, a bit peppery, again hints of a Tripel. Doubt if it can be considered as a Saison.
