330ml bottle. Slightly cloudy, deep golden to amber colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Zwickel-like aroma, slightly grainy, a touch of protein, slightly grassy and minimally citrusy hoppy overtones. Taste is citrusy fruity hoppy, a touch of mandarine and lemon, slightly grainy and biscuity malty basis with subtle sweetness, hints of funripe peach; light and quite watery. OK.

330ml bottle. Levrette = french for ’Doggie Style’. Not sure of the link to beer. Light fruity vanilla aroma. Taste is highly carbonated with lots of orange boiled sweets, sugary sweetness and citric / lime pith. Flavours are a little spiky and carbonation a little too high, but it’s a grower.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein helles bernsteinfarbenes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch malzig süß, alkoholisch, Nüsse, Früchte. Geschmack sehr süß malzig, dunkle Früchte, hefig, leicht alkoholisch.

Bottle shared at CBC Islington during the Ryan Tasting - big thanks to Ian for this gem. Pours hazy gold with a light, frothy white head. Nose of cereal, white bread and light paper. Medium sweet flavor with pervasive pale bread character. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Sweet finish with white bread and hints of lemon merengue. Good enough.

Bottle shared at CBC Islington for the Ryan Tasting - many thanks to Ian for this whaleish beer. It’s sweet with some tangy lemon, white bread, yeast and alcohol as the dominant characteristics. It warms somewhat. Big carbonation. Mellow bitter citrus rind. Fine.

Room 316 Tulip Hotel tasting with Ian and Colin. Hazy amber beer, good pale cream coloured head. Airy softish palate. Airy dry creamy malt. Whisper of citrus. Malty dry finish. Dull.

Beer from Terre de Boissons calais. It’s a half decent blond. Fine. Biere de garde. Likeable

Bottle in room 316 of the Tulip Inn Bodegraven, post day I of Borefts ’13 thanks to Ian, 27/09/13. Murky orange amber with a thin off white head. Nose carries burnt notes, light caramel, dark fruits. Taste comprises pithy fruit, dark tangy fruits, orane. Medium bodied, over carbonated - way too spritzy, poor mouthfeel. Sub par offering - verging on Meh !

Bottle at Tulip Bodegraven. Some malt aroma. Very malty some hop on the finish. Sweetish. Ok
