Bottle at home, so its green alright, small light green head. Aroma is herbal, malt, pine, hint of some fruit. Bottle at home, black beer, small head. Aroma is roast, nuts, sweet, chocolate, light malt. Taste is sweet, hazelnut, roast, malt, lactose, chocolate, nutella, bitter, light hint of pine. Nice one

Bottle at home, orange beer, small head. Aroma is malt, citrus, pine, hops, caramel. Taste is the same, bitter, sweet, caramel, pine, resin, citrus, hops. surprisingly good.

Bottle. Brewed for 90 years Spar supermarket. Color: Clear green, light green head. Pisang ambon as one of the ingredients explains all... Nice gimmick, but as a Beer Geek I'm not over impressed by that and it even worries me a bit. Let's taste... Aroma: Malty, sweetish, hints of banana, tropical fruit and pine. Taste: Malty, subtle notes op pine tops, sweetish, some fruity banana and tropical fruit. A little brut, grape, which also isn't surprisingly given the fact tgat grapejuice is also one of the ingredients. Grassy and lightly pine hoppy backbone with light to moderate bitterness. Medium body, just below average carbonation. Well... Final verdict: Surprisingly easy drinkable. No outstanding pine (pine tops ingredient) and fortunately no outstanding Pisang Ambon. Spar / Meuleneind did a good job brewing a quite cheap and quite unusual festive green beer that's suitable for the mass beer consumer. In fact, it's a beer, Pisang Ambon and grape juice blend. Well done. For a Beer Geek it's not very special though. Maybe I'm just spoiled... Next!

Bottle shared with Terje on board Baluba 08.07.23 in Dokkun while sailing through Staande Mastroute, Netherlands. Dark golden amber. Bright white head and lacing. Fine aroma and taste of pale malt, slightly darker malt, marmalade, pine shoots and citrus. A solid IPA with lingering bitterness. Quite carbonated.

Bottle. Pours clear Irish green, as if it was supposed to be a St. Patrick’s trick or treat, with airy white-greenish head. Clear aroma of champagne yeast and fruit. Bitter, hoppy flavour with notes of bruit and touches if Pisang Ambon and rice. Woody and bitter aftertaste. Not nice.

Bottle, 7.5%. OMG! It is green. Seems hazy. Quite nice-looking green were it not for the fact that I do not my beer to be green. Dry bitterness. Quite astringent with an even more astringent aftertaste. I cannot even taste the spruce tips.
