Cask-conditioned at the Commercial Rooms (JDW), Bristol 3 August 2022. Play gold in colour with a thin, white, head. Zingy citrus hops, some lime and tangerine fruits, light maltiness and a dryish finish. A lot hoppier than any other Box Steam beer I have drank, and all the better for being so.

Handpull cask at the Salmon, Leicester. Light amber and clear with a thin white head and generous lacing. Light malty aroma, some brown sugar, bitter exotic fruits and a metallic note. Bittersweet herbal character, a little buttery with a medicinal aftertaste. Soft carbonation, full body. Okay.

Cask in Three Judges. Clear gold with a lively white head. Aroma is stone fruit, flavour is fruity and bitter

Dark brown colour with no head. Too gassy, lacking in body. The flavours are good though. Malty with vanilla sweetness.
