Dieses Winterbier ⛄ trinke ich in der ersten Hitzewelle 🥵. Wobei ich sagen muss, dass es als NEIPA nicht typisch für den Winter ist und mit der feinen Fruchtigkeit 🍓🍈🍇auch den schweren süßen Weihnachtsbieren widerspricht. Da passt es schon wieder in den Sommer 🌞. Wobei der volle schwere Körper wieder in die kalte Zeit passt.
Es ist durchaus ausbalanciert und komplex, aber ich tue mir schwer es einzuordnen.
Es hat aber auf jeden Fall einen unverwechselbaren Charakter, der das ganze Jahr über passt.

330ml bottle [at 8.4% abv, 30 IBU]. Opaque, darkest brown colour with small to average, frothy, osteoporosing, minimally lacing, brown head. BA supported, dark and caramel malty aroma, notes of chocolate, dark caramel, leather, some peat, toffee, plum wine overtones. Taste is sweet-ish, slightly chocolately, caramel and dark malty, peaty and minimally alcoholic, notes of dark caramel, peat, some chocolate, toffee, leather, a touch of vanilla, plum wine; minimally warming, alcoholic finish.
Viscous texture, smooth and soft, minimally cloying palate, somehow, soft to flat, creamy and medium, mildly prickly carbonation at once.
Intense with good BA support, fairly harmonious and homogeneous, focussed, not overly complex - very nice.
A clear dark reddish brown beer, no head. Aroma of tart red berries, grapes, herbs. Taste of sour red berries, grapes, herbs, interesting.

Dunkel beeriger, fruchtig säuerlicher Beginn. Spritzig, weich, vollmundig, leicht brotig, ziemlich beerig bleibend, weich, rund, harmonisch, langer Abgang. Nett. 9/10/11/10/11/11
Sweet dark malty with notes of dried fruit, spices, cocoa, medium plus body, lingering dark light spiced malty finish. Alright.

Bottle pour at Kraft, courtesy of the BS crew. Nose and taste are huge smoked and peaty notes, elegant acid profile, intense funk, prune and some esters. Medium bodied, essy to drink. This really hit the spot for me, smoked and sour is a nice combination and I interestingly I didn’t encounter any of the flaws other raters mention. Putin meg meg mindig egy geci, mindettol fuggetlenul.

Unter dem Titel "Ave Pils" wird ein ein leichtes Pils, das als Italian Pils 🛵verkauft wird.
Es ist eirklich schön leicht, aber nicht fad und hinterlässt eine gewisse Sehnsucht nach Urlaub am Meer 🌊.

Bottle from BiervanEijk, Frederiksoord. Strong elderflower in the aroma with notes of white wine, more floral embodiment, grape skin, light funk, white grape. Tart and moderate to medium sour with a dry finish and a hint of sweetness. Medium body. Heavy on the elderflower.

Can from BiervanEijk, Frederiksoord. Zesty citrus, fruity hop, orange, bitter fruit peel. Tropical notes with soft pale malt. Medium bitter with low sweetness. Medium body. Bright and zesty, lots of citrus, quite solid!
