Optisch tiefschwarz und lichtundurchdringlich. Die hellbraune, mittelporige Schaumkrone löst sich relativ rasch auf und hinterlässt einen sehr feinen Teppich an der Oberfläche. In der Nase nimmt man sehr angenehme, feine, dunkelmalzige Schoko- und Kakao-, sowie leichte Likörnoten wahr. Der Antrunk kommt sehr feinrezent, süßlich und breit röstig malzig. Noten von dunklem Schokomousse, Kakao und einer zarten Likörnote mit einer leichten Röstsäure und -herbe sind sofort da. Im Mund breitet sich ein unwahrscheinlich voller Körper mit sehr feiner und weicher Rezenz, öliger bis cremiger Textur und röstig-herber Trockenheit aus. Auf Zunge und Gaumen zeigen sich kräftige, sehr dichte, komplexe und angenehm weiche Röstmalzonten von dunkler Schokolade, Schokomousse, Kakao, leichtem Likör, zarten Rumtopffrüchen, einer sachten Röstmalzsäure und zarter Röstmalzherbe. Vielfältige und unglaublich saubere Aromen auf höchstem Niveau und in höchster Konzentration, ohne dabei alkoholisch, scharf oder sonst irgendwie unangenehm zu sein... ein perfektes Spiel aus leichter Süße, zarter Säure und röstiger Herbe... die ölig-cremige Viskosität - einfach top! Dieses Bier ist der pure Hochgenuss! Im Nachtrunk hält die weiche, hocharomatisch Röstmalzige Aromatik unglaublich lange an. Man mag vermeinen, man lutsche an dunkler Schokolade... die Kakaonoten haben schier kein Ende. Nach sehr langer Zeit stellt sich ein leicht trockenes Mundgefühl ein, bei dem die herben Schokonoten aber weiterhin unbändig nachwirken. Aber dann greift man bereits nach dem nächsten Schluck.
Fazit: Bitte als Dessert nach einem 7-Gänge-Menü oder ein Dessert mit Vanille und/oder Karamell dazu! Richtig geil!

2021 Batch. No head after scant seconds; brown-rimmed black beer. Alcohol, fusels, firewood, caramel, preserved cherries. Caramel, quite nutty flavour, chocolate-caramel bar, vanilla, toffee. Bit of black cardamome. Full bodied, ultra slick to viscous, light alcoholwarming. Quite good wee heavy. But who can tell me about Peretvorennya Production Company?

(Draught at Craft & Draft, Amsterdam, 8 May 2022) Dark brown colour, almost black, with foamy beige head. Malty, slightly roasty nose with notes of caramel, dark bread, dark fruit and coffee. Malty, roasted, vinous taste with caramel, raisins, figs, oak wood, a touch of rum and a warming finish with a mild bitterness. Full body, quite sweet. Tasty, warming and vinous. Good balance considering the alcohol level. Very nice.
