Bottle from Drankenhandel Leiden. Strong pastry aroma with salted caramel, milk chocolate, fudge, some roasted malt. Flavour is sweet with a moderate roasty bitterness. Medium body. Lots of pastry chocolate and caramel flavours, delivers as promised.

Bottle from Drankenhandel Leiden. The Palo Santo wood gives off pretty strong spicy/herbal aromas, as well as a somewhat pinetree-like woody aspect. Also grainy malt, some yeast, touch of vanilla? Quite an out of the ordinary aromatic profile for a Tripel. Flavour is relatively bitter for the style with a medium sweetness. Body is medium. Interesting!

Bottle from Drankenhandel Leiden. Aroma is brown malts with caramel, Moscatel raisins, more notes of dried fruits. Hint of alcohol. Flavour is medium sweet with a slight bitterness. Body is above medium. Nice Barley Wine, these are some fine raisins.

330ml bottle. Slightly cloudy, orange, dark golden to amber colour with small to average, frothy to creamy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Sweet-ish, minimally grainy, pale and minimally spicy, rye malty as well as yeasty fruity aroma, hints of honey, yellow stone fruit, weak rye spiciness. Taste is sweet-ish and spicy rye and pale malty, slightly yeasty fruity and minimally floral hoppy, hints of grey rye bread, some honey, chamomile, yellow stone fruit. Creamy-oily texture, smooth and soft palate, fine, mildly prickly carbonation. Not your typical Triple, no phenolic off-flavours, very interesting taste - like it.
