Can, 0.355l. Aroma of mango, passion fruit, citrus, pine and resin. Pours clear amber color with medium sized frothy white head soft visible carbonation. Taste starts with medium sweet caramel and mild tropical fruit, following is medicinal, piney, citrusy and resinous, mouthfeel is rather dry, while finish is heavy bitter. Medium to full body, oily texture and average carbonation in palate. My favorite drinking duet…

Can from Bottle Baron. Hazy golden body with a few flecks floating beneath a white head. Lively carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of earth, mango and black pepper. Flavour of orange, honey and grapefruit. Medium body with an oily texture. Soft fizz. Bright and tongue-tinglingly hoppy. The rye is expertly used and lends a nice spicy, biscuity edge, especially on the aroma.

Pours pale golden to light amber, some haziness. A couple of fingers of head, decent retention and not much lacing. Good enough intensity and freshness in a straightforward per style aroma: light cerealish base, piney and slightly resinous feel, notes of tangerine and grapefruit. Taste notes as per aroma, but with more sweetness than the aroma suggested, and also not very bright/defined. There's overall medium sweetness and medium to high bitterness, with some lingering sirupy sweetness in the aftertaste/finish. Light to medium bodied with average or lightly above average carbonation; a typical per style lively and easygoing mouthfeel. Unimpressive.

Pint can pours with a deep dark mahogany looking body that supports a thin tan head of foam. The modest aroma offers up snippets of dark chocolate and dark roasted malts as well as a faint lactic sort of dried milk sensation. The taste delivers a nice upwelling of dark chocolate that quickly leads to an increase in overall sweetness until it takes on a brown sugar facet. To midway the dark chocolate doesn't relent as the sweetness recedes some leaving room for a bit of lactose milk like tang. Pretty nice.

Tap at mad mex. Hay pale. Slight off hoppy nose. Really bitter commencement. Up front the taste buds are murderized. Yes, a mouth coating rude ass IPA experience that enters the realm of double IPA. Bitter, bitter, bitter bastard. Viscous finish.
