Bottle, 4.8%. Very high carbonation. Cloudy amber colour. Very big rocky off-white head. Banana aroma. The flavour starts off watery, but also has a nice enough yeast note along with a mild caramel touch.

Bottle, 5.2%. Sourish aroma, hint of old rag. Almost clear golden colour. OK stable white head. The flavour starts off very briefly malty, but turns citric and sour with a funky touch. Not clean.

Draught @ Genusswerk, Flensburg. Pours clear copper brown with airy light tan head. Clear aroma of malt, caramel, cinnamon and yeast. bitter, hoppy and spicy flavour with notes of yeast, cake, and cinnamon and touches of malt and cloves. Bitter and spicy aftertaste with estery and malty touches. Okay but a little hollow, despute the wealth of nuances.

Draught @ Genusswerk, Flensburg. Pours clear copper brown with airy off-white head. Clear aroma of malt and pumpkin, with notes of yeast and touches of caramel. Bitterish, hoppy amd spicy onset giving way to sweetish notes of pumpkin and malt and some estery and acidic touches. Spicy and pumpkinny finish with estery touches. A good concept but the carbonation is a little too high for my liking and the body is still a little thin.

Draught, 6.8% at Genusswerk. Distinct aniseed aroma. Clear dark brown colour. Stable off-white head. The flavour has a lot of aniseed. And not sweet but quite bitter. Not like a lot of other Christmas beers. Cough syrup. Herbal finish.
