Wenn schon der Italienurlaub wackelt, dann will ich zumindest ein italienisches Bier aus der alt-ehrwürdigen k.u.k. Hafenstadt Triest. Ein schönes volles Lagerbier mit einen sanft malzigen Hintergrund. Nicht ganz so spritzig, aber dafür sehr süffig. Sicher kein Strandbier, aber ein sehr gutes, wenn auch nicht ausgezeichnetes Beisl-Bier.

Bottle. Amber color. Malt, cookies and a touch of smoke in the aroma. Medium bodied. Malty sweetish flavor with raisinny notes and hints of alcohol. Comes close to a German bock.

750ml bottle @Ristorabte La Regina Dello Scoglio, Livorno 28.07.19. Golden coloured body, filmy layer. Light hops and some bitterness. Light and quite ordinary, but it went well with the pizza in our neighbourhood restaurant.

Beim betrachten des Bieres im Glas hatte ich Assoziationen zum Kronenbourg 1669 Blanche. Allderdings hat dieses Bier noch mehr Trübstoffe und einen noch hefigeren Geschmack nach Sauerteig und auch einige fruchtige Aromen nach Pfirsich und Johannisbeere. Dadurch ist es sehr süffig und mild, ohne wässrig zu wirken. Besser als mach frankophones Bier.
