Pours a yellow with a huge head. Aroma is very metalic. Flavor is bland and tasteless. Can be found all over Russia. I met a group of Russians in Poland after i had been to Russia. They asked me what beer i had tried in Russia, I replied Baltika. They all looked at each other and told me Baltika is crap.

A golden beer with a fine but collapsing white head. The aroma is sweet malty. The flavor is also sweet malty - with hints of caramel and rather carbonized.

A German style beer made by Russians. This is really a sick concept. I have never really had much of an opinion of Russian beer. I was not overly optimistic going into this one,but as I am a wheat beer fanatic, I thought I would give it a try. Besides their, porter had left me with a pretty good impression. I sampled this one from a 16.9 oz bottle. The brew poured an opaque golden color with a medium sized yellow-white head that was noticeably fluffy. The aroma was fairly faint but what you could smell was a pleasant mix of wheat, citrus and a slightly sour element. The flavor is very sweet and wheaty. Great mouthfeel as this one lays thickly and bubbly on the tongue. There is an almost sugary malt flavor that lingers on the aftertaste. I will definitely be coming back to this one again!

Typical lager outlook. Light hoppy aroma. Good malty body with some hoppy bitterness. Decent pilsener but one-dimensional. I must agree with Dmk_McDermott: these Russian lagers have suprised me in positive way.

Pale lager color with foamy white head, lace. Hoppy nose. Mouthfeel starts with hoppy bitterness, then some sweet malt and then again bitter and oily aftertaste. Also quite warming though ABV is only 5%. This is more Bohemian Pilsener than Pale Lager and decent one.

Malt and corn nose. Morning urine color, soapy head. Sugary and corny with a sticky mouthfeel - it hides the alcohol behind sweetness - and now my drain is hiding the brew.

Neutral nose. Very black, ok head. Earthy, slighly sour roasted and smoked malt flavors. Milky mouthfeel, coffee and chokolate aftertaste.

Golden lager color, good foamy white head, lace. Dry herbal malt aroma. Quite full-bodied malty with metal taste. Some hops in the finish. Just lacks that alcohol :)

Dark honey color, steady small white head. Lively carbonation. Aroma is malts with toffee tones. Sharp, slightly metallic flavor with toffee and hops. Not too bad but needs maybe fullier body. (5/3/5/3/11 2.7)
Honey yellow-amber, quickly vanishing head. Lively carbonation. Mild grassy hoppy nose. Malty, sweetish, finishing buttery, a bit harsh. (4/2/4/2/8 2.0)

Huge white head. Appearance is hazy yellow. Aromas of citrus and banana are there but less than I would like due to armoma of alcohol. Standard wheat flavor but light. Sour aftertaste.
