Schenkt wazig amber met beperkte witte kraag, echter wel met prikkelende bubbels, ’t glas zal wel niet al te schoon wezen. aroma komt redelijk floraal binnen, verder sinaasappel en mandarijn. smaken zijn erg fruitig, sinaasappel, mango, mandarijn, matig zoet, extreem fruitige meibock, matige body, lage co2, zoete florale afdronk. best wel ok ... goede smaken ook. --- Beer merged from original tick of Sugar May on 18 May 2018 at 11:55 - Score: 7

Bottle @ weekly tasting shared by Dutchdrebus. Opaque orange color, average sized white to off-white head. Smell and taste both are very very sweet, sweet sugary and some herbs or spices. No, don’t like it.

Bottle @ joes. Hazy orange colour with a small white head. Smells overripe fruits, sweet, malts. Tastes Punica, sweet, tropical fruits, overripe fruits. Full body, soft carbo.

Bottle @ Benzai’s crazy carnaval, small sample. Batch CB201503LB, BB 10-2017. Cloudy golden color, medium frothy head. Aroma is spicy, coriander, yeast, yoghurt. Yeasty, cardboard, spicy. Meh.

Bottle @ Don’t want anything to do with carnaval tasting. Gusher! Murky opaque milky pale yellow color, medium sized rough white head. Smell and taste lightly malts, very yeasty, a hint of dried fuits, some herbal influences and a bit soapy. Average body, a bit fizzy carbonation.

Bottle [from trade with ShivanDragon I believe] @ home. Opaque black color, average sized brown head. Aroma is malts, dark malts, chocolate, sweetish. Taste malts, dark malts, chocolate, a bit sweetish initially, but a decent bitter finish. Medium to full body, soft to average carbonation. Well, this is very impressive! A young brewery like this making a more than solid imperial stout? Don’t see this that often. Very well done, really impressed.

Bottle @ weekly tasting shared with Dutchdrebus. Opaque black color, medium to full sized initially fizzy light brown head that lasts for quite a while. Aroma is malts, dark and roasted malts, firm liquorice and a hint of peat. Taste malts, dark malts, again liquorice and some peat although perhaps there’s a hint of coffee there as well. Decent bitterness. Decent to medium body, fizzy carbonation.
