Bottle at home. Thanks to ShivanDragon. Bit hazy dark golden / light amber with thin white head. Sweet malts, light caramel, bandaids, apples, orangepeel, coriander, heavy grainy or bready notes. Quite sugary sweet and light bitter. Medium body, bit alcoholic/medicinal in the finish.

Bottle from ShivanDragon. Many thanks! Dark brown/black beer with brown creamy foam. Nose of coffee and roasted malts. Lots of carbonation (too much). Taste is malty with harsh bitterness. Some light sour coffee notes. Not bad, but not the best stout.

Bottle shared at Maakun’s. Thanks and cheers to ShivanDragon for picking this out for me! Black with cream tan head. Sweet deep roasted malts, licorice, trekdrop, laurel, rosemary, charcoal, strawberry lemonade syrup fruitiness. Moderate sweet and bitter. Over medium body, slick thick oily feel. Lovely rounded beer.

Bottle shared thanks to sjogro (and ShivanDragon). Very dark brown with beige head. Dry cocoa notes, rosemary, thyme, licorice, drop, aniseed, hay, horse poop, some coffee. Light sweet and medium bitter. Medium bodied with watery feel. The idea of a rosemary porter did sound horrible to me, but it’s actually quite decent.

Taste light heavy sweet, light malty bitterness, burnt caramel, yeast, herbal notes. Malty sweetbitter aftertaste, alcohol, husky notes. Medium body, oily texture, average carbonation, not well-balanced, coarse blond.

Bouteille: Literally black, firm and creamy tanned head; moderate to solid bitter-sweet aroma of dried fruits, roasted malt and caramel with slight ashy traces; solid bitter-sweet flavour, meddium to full bodied, creamy MF; lingering sweet-bitter, roasty and ashy finish. Good and moreish...
