The brewery started in 2002 initially as Leek Brewery in the heart of the Staffordshire Moorlands.
In 2012 the name Leek Brewery was dropped and changed into Staffordshire Brewery.

RBESG Sheffield, on the train from Manchester to Sheffield. Hazy golden colour, white head. Aroma of blue/blackberries. Flavour of cassis, sweetener, grainy bitter finish with a bit of sourness. Light to medium bodied.

RBESG Sheffield 2009, day 3, train from Manchester to Sheffield. Bottle. Hazy golden colour, white head. Aroma of sweet strawberries. Flavour is sweet, light sour, strawberries, light grainy cardboard bitter finish.

RBESG Sheffield 2009, day 3, train from Manchester to Sheffield. Bottle. Hazy golden colour, white head. Aroma of a dry sourness, raspberries. Flavour is sour, raspberries, grainy sour-bitter finish. Less than medium bodied. I’ve had worse.

Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy golden color with a small white head. Has a fruity malty slightly spicy aroma. Sweetish wheat malty dry spicy flavor with hints of citrus. Has a dry wheat malty bitter finish.

Bottle. Pours a hazy yellow color with a small white head. Has a sweetish fruity malty and slightly yeasty aroma with hints of caramel. Sweetish malty yeasty flavor with hints of caramel and hops. Has a sweetish malty yeasty finish with some hoppy bitterness in the aftertaste.

Bottle. Pours a clear pale copper color with a small white head. Has a fruity malty caramel aroma with some hoppy hints. Fruity malty hoppy caramel flavor with some bitter hoppy hints. Has a fruity malty hoppy bitter finish.

Bottle. Pours a clear copper color with a small off-white head. Has a malty slightly hoppy citrus aroma. Fruity malty caramel flavor with hints of citrus. Has a dry malty hoppy bitter finish with hints of citrus in the aftertaste.

Bottle 330ml. @ home.Clear medium orange color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy malty, hay, straw, light caramel, moderate to heavy hoppy, grass, orange, soap notes, light licorice. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, and a peppery - alcoholic finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light alcoholic. Bottle, Carringtons, Chorlton. Didn’t warm to this at all. The cherry aspect was of the nasty artifical and saccharine kind. One to avoid - drain pour.

Bottle 50cl.Clear medium amber orange color with a small to average, fizzy, fair lacing, fully diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate hoppy, grass, orange, earth, chlorine notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20090124]
