Visited the brewpub Nov 2012. The wit stood out for me. A bit heavy on the orange and coriander. Very refreshing on a hot vietnam afternoon.

A very tasty drink. The coriander is evident among the hoppy aftertaste. The aroma fills your nostrils as you swallow, a great sensation.

A decent beer, especially given the overall quality of blondish beers in Vietnam. A really great lighter beer for the beer, well rounded.

An excellent red beer, full of hoppy taste and a great bitterness that sticks around well after the last sip. A very complex red, the best of a good lot at Louisiane

Dark brown with golden-brown accents. Chocolatey aroma with light toast is almost porterish. Rich chocolatey character is soft, sweet and smooth. Nice light acidic bit at the end makes this very moreish. Might be Vietnam’s best brew.

Golden colour. Rich, herbaceous noble hop aroma...it’s a little different than the usual pilsner on account of Kiwi hops. It’s rich and woody, with lingering bread and a caramelly underpinning. Moderate bitterness in this beer is herbal, but at 32IBUs it’s one of the more robust beers in SE Asia. Light fruity hop notes balanced by rich malts underneath. Complex, rounded example, one of the better lagers in VN.

Slightly golden colour. Light hop nose. Light bitterness. Lots of tropical fruit character on the palate. Good balance when cold but as it warms it becomes chewy, reminding me a bit of Hazed & Infused.

Yellow. Clear. Icing sugar aroma with lime and coriander. Soft body. Balanced fruit and coriander on the palate. Light spicy finish and low hop note. Quite clean, perhaps not enough yeast character, as to be expected since it looks a little filtered.
