About

I've heard that Girardin has a rather variable character, but I hardly ever get to try the stuff to find out for myself. Well, as brilliant as it was when I first had it over 3 years ago, it wasn't nearly as good this latest time out. It was far too creamy and yoghurty. Of course, I was the only one who thought it was too sweet, but what are you gonna do?

The sweetest of the Girardin beers (unless they have a Faro I don't know about), but bear in mind that sweet is a relative word. The fruit flavours do begin to drown out some of the earthy lambic complexity. Thankfully, there is plenty to spare.
