Bottled. A dark amber beer with a light tan head. The aroma has notes of straw, malt, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of over ripe fruits, malt, adn caramel, leading to a dry alcoholic finish.

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of Countbeer. Pours an almost clear amber with a small off-white head. Odd rotten fruit aroma, a little yeast up there too. Medium body, lively carbonation. Caramel and some slight phenols with a little late hops. For an Abbey Dubbel this is poor. 301112

Thanks to bierkoning for that one. Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass deep black, nice head. Starts strong-malty, modest roasty with woody notes. Mild-fruity like raisins. Well balanced finish. Almost mild for an Imperial Stout. Nice!

Thanks to bierkoning for that one. Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass zippy, nice head. Starts intense fruity like lemon, hints of grapefruit. Fine sourish without being too much. Well balanced finish, quite drinkable. Nice!

On tap at Pint Bokbierfestival ’12. Dark reddish brown colour, caramel head. Aroma is very sweet at first, cotton candy, later burnt caramel, citrus, nice hoppy, roasted malts. Flavour is medium sweet, malty, roasted malts, light coffee, burnt caramel, light fruity bitterness with a nice hoppy kick. Medium bodied. Nice and powerful bock.
