Bottle from Burg Bieren Bierwinkel, Ermelo, Netherlands consumed at home Sunday 21st October 2012 Pours hazy gold with some yeasty looking particles in suspension. Some spice and yeastiness on the nose. Soft in the mouth, warming, vanilla, orange and a spiciness but it isn’t that hoppy, I like it but not really what I would describe as an IPA, bitterness and hoppiness are quite muted for the style. 33 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ Traverse, Utrecht. Pours orange yellow with a lot of yeast specks in it and a white head. Nice fruity citrus nose with some yeast. Tastewise it is not an overpowering hop bomb but ofcourse there is plenty of hops to enjoy. Bittersweet aftertaste. Overall a bit too sweet for an IPA but enjoyable nonetheless.
