Description
De keuze is ReuZe, de kwaliteit is ReuZachtig.

In 2002 werd Jos van Breda 50 jaar. Zijn boezemvriend Bernard Smits gaf hem een brouwcursus cadeau, Beide heren waren al fanatiek lid van de Vereniging Bierproeven in hun woonplaats Moergestel. In 2005 gingen ze commercieel onder de vlag van de Vereniging Pierewaaiers Reuzenbieren.

In december 2010 werd er een BV opgericht. Jos en Bernard vonden nog een partner Martin Op ‘t Hoog. Reuzenbieren B.V. was geboren, genoemd naar het lokale Reuzengilde..

Bottle. Roasted aroma, hint of fruity sourness. Almost black colour. Nice stable light brown head. Roasted flavour, some alcohol. Some alcohol bitterness. Very late distinct coffee aroma. Fresh ground and nice. Too rough alcohol note.

Bottled (thanks jbrus!). Quite much black colour, small brown head, that leaves some lace. Aroma is roasted malts, toffee, caramel and mild alcohol. Flavour is toffee, mild roasted malts, some hops and a bit of alcohol. Actually a bslanced impy.

Bottled 0,75l
Opaque brown color, tiny brown head. Sweet fruits and milk&coffee n the nose.Medium.bodied. Coffee, tobacco, oat/milk in the flacor. Some alcohol in the finish. Toasted, good.

Bottle 750ml.Clear medium yellow orange color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, overripped honey, spicy. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and modrate bitter with a average to long duration, honey. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20100314]

Bottle @ Copenhaniacs tasting, Pt.1. Pours hazy deep golden with floaties and a small creamy white head. Nose is yeast, oxidized and very vinous and sweet. Strong flavor of yeast, fruit and alcohol.

Bottled. A hazy golden beer with a thin white head. The aroma has notes of citrus, hops, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, spices, metal, over ripe fruits, and yeast, leading to a dry yeasty and mineralic finish.

cloudy orange, small white head. aroma is pretty blended, sweet and dry notes. stale hops. flavor is very caramelly (belgian white caramel), flowery. well blended.

75 cL bottle. Pours hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma is dry phenolic and mild spiced. Dry and fruity flavoured. Dark malty, caramelish and slight oxidised. Smooth caramel malty finish.

Cloudy amber with a medium off white head. Sweet yeasty aroma with malty and fruity notes. Sweet yeasty flavour with ripe fruits, caramel and toasted malt. Finished sweet.

Bottle 75 cl. Pours an almost clear golden with an off-white head. Odd spicy aroma - first I found it walnutty. Solid body, sweet and fruity but also minty and gingery - subdued yeastiness though. Massive alcohol burn in the finish. 140310
