Can coming from Amstein, St-Légier. Tasting it tonight in Paris, after a hard day of work, tree fallen on the track in the area of Seyssel. Interesting ipa, really smooth and sweet, a bit soily, hazy, note of lychee, mango, pineapple, bitter, syrupy, 18.10.24
Nice and fruity.

Goudgeel helder bier met mooie witte schuimkraag.
Aroma is bloemig en hoppig.
Smaak is zoet, fruitig en licht hoppig.
Nasmaak is bitterzoet.

From Amstein, St-Légier. Drinking and enjoying this can, on sunday, after a couple of days at the hospital, concerning my son. Classical and old school ipa, on the way of the embuscade, resinous, smooth, malty, bitter and citrus with some sweetness, 10.07.23.

0.33 l can from 'Mr. Hop', canned in June 2025. Clear, deep reddish amber with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, off-white head. Sweetish-malty, gently fruity-resiny aroma of caramel, raisins, orange peel and some pine. Quite sweet, malty, gently bitter, moderately fruity and quite resiny taste of caramel, raisins, pine and some orange, followed by a medium long, quite bitter finish. Medium to full body, gently effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Nice American-style Barley Wine, but probably not as deep as the real Bigfoot.

BB 20.03.2026. HAHAHA. Blikkie van Appie (halve prijs bonus). Kleurt goudgeel, troebel. Een nogal zepige witte kraag waar een dun laagje van overblijft. Geurt lekker naar citrus, iets dank hops, maar ook iets vreemds wat ik niet thuis kan brengen. In de mond is het ook lekker fris en fruitig, milde hop, licht moutig. Smaak is dan wel wat granig met ook hier iets vreemds, verder weinig smaak. Lichte body. Uiteindelijk nog een licht bittertje.

Een vrijwel heldere diep gouden (bijna oranje) kleur en een hobbelige witte kraag met redelijke retentie. Geur van wort, graan, fruitig. Behoorlijk fruitig retronasaal. Smaak is licht zoetig, fruit(zur)ig. Lichte body, niet dun, behoorlijk veel koolzuur. Granige afdronk.

Aus der Dose (bbe 19.07.2025) im 2025-02 getrunken. Das trüb, orange Ale startet in der Nase mit einem wunderbaren Mango-Aroma. Am Gaumen ist das Aroma nicht mehr so dicht, aber mit der eher leichten Säure ist es ein tolle Ale für den Sommer.
