Tap at the Den Haag beer fest 2013. Poured a dark mahogany with a frothy tan head. The aroma is rich fruity alcoholic. The flavour is medium bitter, medium liqourice with some soft malt in the finish.

Tap at the Den Haag beer fest 2013. Poured a cloudy medium amber with an orange hue and a frothy white head. The aroma is weak malt leading to a crisp clean yeasty weak bitter flavour.

Draft at The Hague beer festival. Pours clear amber with an off white head. Aroma of fruits, herbs, citrus, orange peel. Flavour is light to moderate sweet and bitter with some acidity. Medium bodied with light carbonation.

Draft at The Hague beer festival. Pours near black with a big tan head. Aroma of roasted malt, coffee, dark chocolate, caramel, a little fruit. Flavour is moderate sweet and over moderate bitter. Medium bodied with light carbonation.

2nd beer I had from this brewery @ UBF ’13. Copper colored. Rocky, sticky off white head. Aroma’s: grain, fruit, refreshing. Flavor is grainish, malty, light sweet, light bitter. Medium bodied. Slightly disappointing after the excellent Saison.

First beer (tap) @ UBF ’13, and as it turns out one of my favorites. Dry-hopped with US hops. Golden blond color. Dense white head. Aroma’s: fruit, spicy yeast, some sweet spices (aniseed?). Flavor is medium bitter, grain/malt, a hint of acidity. Light bodied. Finishes medium bitter. Really liked this.

Tap @ UBF13. Clear golden color, short head. Aroma has some soft grassy hop, bit wheat, slight grainy. Soft bitter taste, hint of sweetness. Easy brew, nothing spectacular or outspoken.

Tap @ UBF13. Clear dark brown color, huge frothy brown head. Aroma of soft roasted coffee, some dark roasty malts, caramel. Slightly bitter taste, only soft sweetness, bit on the thin side. But again I like the balance between the coffee and the roastiness.
