Bottle. Light brown pour. Aroma of strong rye whiskey, ripe fruit, raisin, oak, vanilla and molasses. Taste has ripe fruit, oaky vanilla, smooth rye whiskey, raisin, caramelised malt and mild bitter piney hop. Raisiny whiskey finish. Good stufff, very tasty.

On draught. The alcohol is hidden here, with only slight amounts of retained sugar and cloyingness. Deep orange- copper. Dank.

From bomber to pint glass. Crystal malt, floral and slight citrus aroma. Clear copper-orange with well sustained white head. Taste leans to the malt with slight citrus. Moderate bitterness but does not seem like 100 IBUs. A little cloying.

Bottle from Total Wine in Sacramento, CA. Pours bright gold with a slight white head. Mildly sour aroma. Med minus body. Flavor is kiwi fruit (not that far off gooseberry or strawberry) in a mildly sour note. Not getting much Brett. Not saying it’s not there, just I’m not getting it. Gets a hint of pedio/cardboard in the finish, but that’s not really terrible. Quite quaffable.

Draft @ Sour Sunday 2017, Berkeley, CA. Pours a hazy yellow color with a small white head. Has a fruity sour kiwi aroma. Fruity sour tart kiwi flavor. Has a fruity sour tart kiwi finish.

Draft @ SF Beer Week Opening Gala 2017. Pours a dark brown color with a small off-white head. Has a roasted malty caramel aroma. Roasted malty caramel woody coconut flavor. Has a roasted malty woody caramel and coconut finish.

Tap. Pours clear golden, medium white head, great lacing. Aroma is Makty, Bready, grassy, Noble Hops. Flavor is light sweet, light bitter. Light body, soft mouthfeel. Reasonably on point.

Tap. Pours hazy golden, small white head, dissipates quickly, some lacing. Aroma is kettle sour, sea air, wheat mash, coriander, lime zest. Flavors is light tart, minimal bitterness. Light body, low carbonation. Good.
