Bottle shared at the Chris & Ruth pre GBBF shindig tasting 2016 - London. Cheers! Pours clear amber with a frothy white head. The nose holds toasted grains, earth, minerals. Light to medium sweet flavour with hints of brett, dried berries, further grains, dried bread. Light bodied with average carbonation. Lightly resinous to finish, with further impressions of brett, some further toasted grains, oily pine. Novel gear.

Bomber from Total Wine in Folsom, CA. Pours translucent gold with a slight white head. Aroma is a little bready, slightly cooked, perhaps, with some citrus, but not much citrus. For some reason it’s not making me remember ale in Köln. Just making me think: another light blonde ale.

On tap at Diving Dog. Pours a hazy yellow gold with medium white head that lasts. The aroma is salt, pepper, floral, wheat. Thin body, lemon zest, pepper, light tartness, strong salt in finish, good.

Tap at Cap Tap. Pours clear gold with a white head that laces. Aroma is mild sour citrusy. Med body or so. Flavor is fruity/citrus and lacto or pedio - I think pedio. Seems to have a few hot bits in the finish. Some woody notes. Gets tartly vinous as the mouth fatigues. Pretty nice sour. On reflection pineapple comes to mind. I don’t know why. Maybe it’s the sour part.

Undated bottle drunk 11/22/16.
There’s a pinkish tinge to it, but it’s still mostly a copper-gold. Pink-tinged beige head immediately fizzles out. High clarity.
The nose is full of strong acetic acid. Not to the point of acetone, thankfully, but it’s definitely dominant. Even the brightness of the raspberry is overshadowed by it. Light oakiness and soft honey and caramel malts behind do enough to "balance" it, but it’s just a bit too much on the acetic character.
In the mouth it’s even more given to it. Very, very strong vinegar-like qualities, with enamel stripping sourness as a result and lots of sharpness. The oak does soften it, somewhat, but it’s a losing battle. Raspberries lie behind it and add tartness and juiciness. Carbonation is very low, slightly loose at times.

12 oz can from City Beer. No idea what to expect with this beer, but very much anticipating finding out. Golden orange pour with a patchy fizz head, and a ton of sediment. Floral aroma with some apple sauce reminder, coriander. Flavor is cool, and a bit herbal. All kinds of fruit flavors that are unique to any other beer I’ve had. Mild spices, tea like finish with a mild bitterness to leave. Very different, and a light beer feel with a great amount of flavor. Quite tasty.
