Bottle from Capitol Beer in Sacramento, CA. Pours amber with a near white head. Smells of bourbon and old musty wood. Med body or so. Flavor is bourbon, wood, some mild Xmas spices. It’s on the verge of seeming oxidized. Pretty tasty.

Good enough sour beer that seems a bit salty and so perhaps like a Gose’. Not much sign of the advertised hops. Aroma is fruity, musty, tart. Flavor’s like nose, not overly sour. Fairly drinkable.

Bottle. Pours a bit hazy golden, small white head, dissipates to a ring with some lacing. Aroma is weirdly buttery for a BA beer, citrus, oak, lemon pledge. Flavor is lightly tart, a bit of bathroom, vomit, lemon pledge, rotten grapefruit. Light plus body, low carbonation. No.

At a tasting, thanks, smallish head, a bit hazy deep orange color, aroma of acetone and green unripe fruit, Intense fruity acidity with some saltiness with some acetone that is getting stronger, very difficult to drink, unpleasant sensation remains for quite a while in your throat. Strange and not too good.

Bottle shared at a tasting at Max’s place. Hazy orange color, slightly pinkish. Aroma of acetone, vinegar, a bit of berries. Extremely acidic and acetic flavor, with acetone, vinegar, berries - hurts when you swallow. Every sip is literally painful. Completely undrinkable, feels like something that could really make you ill. 1.3 is kinda generous actually. I want my $10 back!

#1000 USA beer. Sampled draft @ Delirium Hoppy Loft. Dark peach amber. Plaster yeast, dust, cardboard, plaster, doughy. Taste is weird papery dough, sugar, peach, old hops, sugar. Milky plaster body. Old keg maybe? This sample didn’t do much for me, meh.

Sampled draft @ Delirium Hoppy Loft. Quite hazy orange, solid white head. Nose is mandarin sorbet, pulpy orange juice, real freshly squeezed orange juice pulp. Nose is light yeast, mold mixed with squeezed orange juice pulp, touch sweetish. Medium body. The pulpy orange juice taste & smell make this one fun, not perfect but a fun beer.

Tap at SF Beer Week Opening Gala. Pours very hazy orange with a very small off-white head and leaves a bit of lacing. Aroma is, well, pretty much exactly like a whiskey sour. Flavor is light bitter, medium sweet, yep, whiskey sour with perhaps a touch of cinnamon added. Light body, low carbonation. Rerate from the bottle; pretty much the same, more ABV heat than I noticed previously.
