Bottle 0,33 ltr: Hazy dark brown coloured brew with an dry bitter taste with some sweetness, hints of caramel, dried fruits, some roasted malts and very subtle oak.

Bottle from Speciaalbierpakket. Aroma is sweet malt, caramel, sugar, spicy yeast, touch of banana, sweet candied fruits, hint of vegetables. Sugary sweet flavour. Body is medium. A bit too sugary for my taste and I’m not too crazy about the aroma.

Bottle from Drankenhandel Leiden. Aroma is sweetish pale malt with yeast, clove, coriander, candied fruity notes, light touch of floral-ish hops and banana. Flavour is medium sweet and mildly bitter. I get a hint of alcohol, body is medium. Way more Tripel than Weizen, in fact pretty on point for a Tripel. Surprisingly good.

Bottle from Drankenhandel Leiden. Aroma is spicy with dark malt, liqourice root, anise, caramel, more spicy notes. Flavour is moderate to medium sweet and light bitter. Medium body. Bit too sweet & spicy for my taste.

Bottle from Drankenhandel Leiden. Aroma is fairly spicy and herbal with malt, yeast, coriander, herbal notes, black pepper, touch of orange. Flavour is moderate sweet and light bitter. Medium body. Too dominated by spices 'n herbs.

Bottle 0,33ltr: Hazy orange colored brew with an sweet bitter taste, hints of oranges and coriandre. Taste like an Leffe Tripel, if i may be honest.

Bottle 0,33ltr: Hazy dark brown colored brew with an dry bitter taste with some sweetness, and some little burning in the mouth. Hints of caramel, dark chocolate and roasted malts. More of an Imperial Porter than an Doppelbock, but its an good effort. Bought it at Smaakhuis, Lisse.
