As "Stavio Birrozzo di zio Franco Rosso 2014". redish / pink hazy color, small pink head. smells musty, medical, leathery, some grape notes, peppery, heavy spices. weird but oveall nice smell. full body, light carbonation, slick mouthfeol. tastes of grapes, earthy, some wood, peppery, heavy on the spices. finishes dry and lightly sour with notes of grapes, spices and some earthy notes. nice to very nice one, a bit weird but overall rather drinkable. 7, 4, 7, 3, 16

Cask @ the brewpub, Rome. Pours cloudy very dark brown with big and stable tan head. Dark aroma of roast and smoke, with estery and malty hints. Roasty and smoky flavour with hints of yeast and touches of malt, hops and dark chocolate. Estery and smoky afteraste with hints of hops. Good.

Draught @ the brewpub. Pours hazy amber with stable white head. Clear aroma of malt, yeast and fruit, with hoppy hints. Sweetish flavour of malt and yeast, with fruity notes and some mild, bitter touches of hops. Rough and estery aftertaste. Not funky enoug forna really mind-blowing Saison but still decent. The carbonation could be higher, though.

Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, pale hay - straw, sweet malt, moderate hoppy, herbs, fruity hops. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration, perfume - fruity, pale malt, sweet malt, cookie, grass, fruity hops. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft.
